Exhibition open during regular Library hours.

"Rough, raw, surreal" is how Donna G. sees her paintings. Her style has been described as Abstract Realism. She begins her creative process by looking at something, often from nature, and staring at it long enough, in a somewhat dreamlike state, until new shapes and images emerge. She then begins painting from those images, but often, her work takes off in a completely different direction. The surreal, organic landscapes will make you stop and think about what you're seeing. Traditional scenes often become visions of an alternate reality.

Writer's Group

9/9/2008 - 5/20/2009 The Writers’ Group is a writer’s forum where we share our writing by reading to the group, both for the sake of having an audience and for receiving (on request) constructive feedback. We appreciate one another and never criticize. We do all kinds of writing: essays, poetry, novels, short stories, humor and memoirs. Each year we put together an anthology: a culmination of our thinking, listening, and writing.

Gregory, a theater director from New York, is the more talkative of the pair. He relates to Shawn his tales of dropping out, traveling around the world, and experiencing the variety of ways people live, such as a monk who could balance his entire weight on his fingertips. Winter Wonderland Holiday Light Show
